Story of bread and biscuit...Tourteau Fromagé

Hi,
Bonjour~

If we say France, we can't forget bread, cheese and wine.
France's traditional bread is Baguette...

The bread that I am going to introduce is Tourteau Fromagé.
There is cheese, so it is round cheese bread.




























It is the special product of Poitou(in France)
It is made of fresh goat cheese.
This upper side of bread is burn with fire, so it keep the moist.
I saw many people who ate the black part, so we can it.

































If we cut, inside it is like a soft sponge cake.
Traditionally, we eat during a wedding reception, but recently we eat for snack or desert.
I like baguette, but for breakfast I also ate this bread with Nutella.


In bakery, they don't sell this bread much, so we could find in the supermarket, refrigeration corner. The price is about 3.5 euro. Price of one baguette is 1 euro, so it is expensive.






















The goat cheese(Fromage de chèvre) that is the main ingredient of Tourteau fromagé.

The goat cheese's taste is mild, the texture is soft and there are a lot of moisture content.

I would like to eat baguette with one piece of goat cheese:)
